NOTICE OF DISPOSITION OF
IMPOUNDED VESSEL

Notice is given that the following vessel: Item No. 20-01, “Morning Star”, Doc. No. 528150, a 55′ steel hull sailing vessel has been impounded by the Department of Land and Natural Resources, Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation, 2494 Niumalu Rd., Lihue, HI 96766.
Vessel Item No. 20-01 shall be disposed of as junk pursuant to Section 200-16, Hawaii Revised Statutes (HRS). The person(s) entitled to possession of said vessel may repossess and remove vessel prior to March 1, 2020 upon payment of all harbor use fees and impound related expenses incurred in connection with said vessel.
An owner of personal property on or within this impounded vessel may claim their personal property by making a written request to the Administrator of the Division of Boating & Ocean Recreation that includes satisfactory proof of ownership. Any personal property valued at less than $1,000.00 on or within this impounded vessel not claimed by March 1, 2020 shall be disposed of as junk. This vessel is under the custody of the Department of Land and Natural Resources. Trespassing is prohibited.
