Installation of Enhanced Pavement Markers & New Milled Rumble Strip at Various Locations-Island of Kauai – Work Order No. 08 RTE 51
Work on Waialo Road from Kaumualii Highway to the end of Waialo Road to tentatively begin on July 11, 2022 and is estimated to be completed by October 03, 2022. Inclement weather may delay completion. No parking on or within 15′ of edge-line will be permitted during working hours and "No Parking" signs will be posted in all areas where anticipated work will take place.
The project includes removal of existing pavement markings/markers and installation of new pavement markings/markers & installation of centerline milled rumble strip.
Limits: RTE 51 from Ahukini Rd. to Kuhio Hwy. Mile Post 2.15 to Mile Post 3.42

Lanes closures will be implemented during construction during the following hours: Nightly; Sunday Night through Sunday Morning 6PM – 6AM.
