NOTICE OF PUBLICATION
LIHU’E – The Department of Public Works and Kiewit Infrastructure West Co. are announcing that construction will continue on Ho’olako Street, which will require closing Ho’olako Street. Detours to local businesses will be provided utilizing Halau St, Oihana St, Ninini Point St, and Ka’ana St. Work will be from June 10th through June 12th, weather permitting.
Part of Phase 1 of the Lihu’e Town Core Mobility and Revitalization project, the scope of work on Ho’olako street includes slurry seal and new striping work.
Motorists are encouraged to allow for extra travel time when driving near the work areas, use alternate routes, and to observe and follow all construction traffic controls. Please exercise caution when commuting through the work areas. Access to businesses along Ho’olako Street will be maintained during construction.
