NOTICE TO MOTORISTS
statewide noxious invasive pest program surveys
Hawaii Department of Transportation Federal Aide Project No. STP-1500(73)
On Wednesday March 13th roadside surveys for invasive pests will be conducted on Kuamoo Rd from
8:30 am to 12 pm and on Maalo Rd from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. On Thursday March 14th roadside surveys
for invasive pests will be conducted on Waimea Canyon Drive, Kokee Rd between the hours of 8:30 am
and 3:30 pm. On Friday March 15th roadside surveys for invasive pests will be conducted on Kuhio Hwy
(56) at Leho Dr. to M.P. 19.9 at Koolau Rd. from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. The surveys will utilize a slow moving
vehicle in the shoulder lane (where available) or in the right lane with a slow moving vehicle placard at rear
of survey vehicle, and strobe flashing light. No lane closures are to occur, but traffic delays are possible.
