The work covered under this contract will be performed at the Lihue Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) located in Lihue, Hawaii at 3190 Ninini Point Road. The work includes improvements to the headworks screening system, secondary clarifier 1 and 2 (SC1 and SC2) and return secondary sludge pump stations 1 and 2 (RSS1 & RSS2) areas.

Kiewit is requesting quotes in the areas described, but not limited to: Ready mix supply concrete reinforcing installation concrete pumping structural concrete concrete rehabilitation metals metal deck plastic fabrication flashing and sheet metal painting and coating equipment solid waste handling equipment clarifier hydraulic gates and valve sewage and sludge pump screening and grinding equipment electrical work

All responsive subcontractors must possess a valid Hawaii Contractor’s license and provide acceptable insurance. Responsible subcontractors and material contractors may be required to provide bonding for 100% of their contract value. Bond premium will be reimbursed by Kiewit. Subcontractors, Consultants, Professional Service Firms, and Material Vendors/Suppliers must be able to accept all terms and conditions of the project under its resultant agreement.

Plans and specifications may be obtained upon request and provided to you through Kiewit’s electronic use of SmartBid. The Project is funded by the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) and is subject to the American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirement.
