EARL AIMOKU MORTON, JR. Earl Aimoku Morton Jr., 74, died on May 29, 2026, in Pali Momi Medical Center. He was born on June 21,1951 on Maui and lived most of his adult life on Kauai. After retiring from Kauai Commercial Co., he became owner/operator of MeMo’s Taxi and worked part-time for Jimmy Sales. He is preceded in death by his great-grandson Bear Hurley, parents Emelia Kahili Kaina and Earl Aimoku Morton Sr., mother-in-law Elsie Takata, siblings Earline Morton, Anthony Morton, & Thomas Aquino, brother-in-law Dayne Obatake, former wife Mary (Carter) Morton, and stepfather Benjamin Aquino. Survived by his wife Marlene Morton, children Kesava Morton, Sanjay (Sidney) Kaaumoana-Morton, Jivan Morton, Nicole (Kalani) Hurley, Justin (Keiko Hoopii) Corpuz, Leo Corpuz & Kyron Corpuz, father-in-law Samuel Takata, sibling in law: Jimmy (Cheryl Lovell – deceased) Obatake, Randy (Apryle) Obatake, Alden (Anki) Takata, Gwen Saiki. Siblings Alvina, Kathleen (Kathy), Yolanda (Pua), Lehuanani (Lala), Nadine (Deanie), Nanette (Netty), & Benjamin Aquino Jr., 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, last but not least, pet Bella. A very private gathering was held on June 21, 2026.
