EILEEN MAHEALANI AHANA BOURGEOIS, &Quot;MAHEA&Quot; Eileen Mahealani Bourgeois, 74, of Kailua, HI, passed away on August 5, 2023. She was born on July 25, 1950. Eileen was a creative painter and a great cook. She had a deep love for her nieces and nephews and was known for her sensitivity. Eileen is survived by her brother, Godfrey K. H. Ahana, and her sisters, Lois N. Ahana-Vistart and Cathy T. A. Rose. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Roger Vistart. Eileen was preceded in death by her 7 nieces and nephews – Kaulana, Cheyanne, Chante, DJ, Tehina, Whitney – as well as 17 grand nieces and nephews. Eileen graduated from Kailua High School and later retired from Hawaiian Tel after 30 years of dedicated service. She was a talented painter and enjoyed cooking and bargain hunting in her free time. A service to celebrate Eileen’s life will be held at St. John Vianney in Kailua. The service will take place from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to a charitable organization of your choice in Eileen’s memory.
