NAN MARIE GREER, LEGAL GUARDIAN OF KRISTINA RAY HOYD REQUESTS AN INDEPENDENT ADOPTION.
FACTS TO SUPPORT: Kristina Ray Hoyd was born on March 6, 2007 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was placed in Nan Marie Greer’s physical care on February 8, 2013. The guardianship was ordered on February 4, 2015 in the county of Riverside. Name of birth parents, Sarah Lintner (mother) and Anthony Hoyd (father). A court ended the parental rights of Anthony Hoyd on December 12, 2017. I/We ask the court to end the parental rights of Sarah Lintner. The child has been left in the custody of another person by both parents of the sole parent for six months without providing for the child’s support, or without communication from the parent or parents, with the intent to abandon the child. I/We ask the court to approve the adoption and to declare that the adopting parents and the child have the legal relationship of parent and child, with all the rights and duties of this relationship, including the right of inheritance.

ORDER FOR FREEDOM FROM PARENTAL CUSTODY AND CONTROL
On the 12 day of December 2017, the verified petition now on file in this Court came on for hearing, and citation having been issued requiring Anthony Hoyd to appear at this time and place, and due service of said citation having been made as directed by the Court and required by law, and Nan Marie Greer being present in Court, and citee(s) having (failed to appear) (appeared) and evidence both oral and documentary being offered and received, and the written report of the probation officer having been filed herein and considered by the Court; and the Court finds that said minor is under the age of eighteen years, to wit: of the age of 10 years on 3/6/17, that said minor is a person defined in Subdivision 7822(a)(2)FC of said section, in that: minor left in care/custody of mother for a period of 6 months or more without provisions for support/communication. Intent to abandon and the Court further finds that a return of custody to the parent(s) would be detrimental to the minor and feeing the minor from the custody of her parent(s) is in the best interest of the minor.
NOW THEREFORE, said Kristina Ray Hoyd is hereby declared and adjudged to be free from the custody and control of Anthony Hoyd said parent, and of all persons claiming to be the father of said minor. The petition is granted pursuant to California Family Code Section 7822(a)(2).

PETITION FROM FRREEDOM FROM PARENTAL CUSODY AND CONTROL
Your petitioner Nan Marie Greer respectfully represent(s) and allege(s) that the following named (listed below) minor(s) is/are a person(s) under the age of eighteen and that said person(s) is/are within the said County of Riverside: Kristina Ray Hoyd, DOB 3/6/07 City/State of Birth Honolulu, HI. That said child(ren) is/are person(s) defined in Family Code Section(s) 7822(a)(2), Probate Code 1516.5 to mother, of the Family Code, and acts amendatory thereto, and the said person(s) has been left in care of Nan Marie Greer by Sarah Lintner her parents without any provision for support , and without communication from said parent(s), with the intent on the part of said parent(s) to abandon said person(s) continuously since 2/8/2013 to the time of filing this petition. That said person(s) is/are now in the custody and control of Nan Marie Greer and that an award of custody to the parent(s) would be detrimental to the child and an award of custody to a non-parent is required to serve the best interests of the child(ren).
