You are hereby notified that Plaintiff COUNTY OF KAUA’I has commenced an action against you in Civil No. 18-1-0038 JRV, in the above-entitled Court seeking that the Court apportion surplus monies that stem from the foreclosure sale of certain real properties located on the County of Kaua’i to the appropriate parties and to discharge Plaintiff from all liabilities regarding the surplus monies except to the parties whom the Court shall adjudge entitled to them.

You are hereby summoned to appear before the Honorable Judge Randal G.B. Valenciano, Judge of the above-entitled court, in his Courtroom No. 4, in the Circuit Court of the Fifth Circuit, 3970 Ka’ana Street, Lihu’e, Hawai’i 96766, on May 30, 2019 at 1 p.m. or file an answer or other pleading and serve it before said date upon Maryann G. Sasaki, Deputy County Attorney, whose address is 4444 Rice Street, Suite 220, Lihu’e, Hawai’i 96766. If you fail to do so, judgment by default will be taken against you for the relief demanded in the Complaint.
