NOTICE OF PUBLICATION
Beginning Monday, March 4, 2019, construction activities will commence on the Eiwa Street, Pi’ikoi Parking Lot and Umi Street, (Sites 6 & 7), portion of the Lihue Town Core Mobility and Revitalization project. Work hours are 7:00am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday.
Motorists are encouraged to allow for extra travel time when driving near the work area and observe/ follow all construction traffic controls. Please exercise caution when commuting through the work area.
Construction activities include:
Installation of Best Management Practices (biosocks, drain inlet
protection)
Demolition and grading for new concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks,
parking and driveway paving
Demolition of Pi’ikoi Building Extension
Installation of drainage structures and improvements
Installation of concrete curb and gutter and sidewalks, parking and
driveway paving
Roadway reconstruction
