VARIANCE APPLICATION NO. WW 598

Pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes (HRS) Section 342D-7(i), the State Department of Health (DOH) seeks written comments from interested persons regarding the following. Mr. Ben Dookchitra of Kauai Beach Resort Association has applied for a variance for the maximum of five (5) years from sections 11-62-34(c)(1)(C) and 11-62-34(d)(1)(C) of Hawaii Administrative Rules,”Wastewater Systems.”
Ms. Diana Kenjic, Aqua Engineers, Inc. is the authorized agent to act for the applicant. The variance involves the replacement of an existing cesspool with a new individual wastewater sytem to be installated at the Nukolii Beach Comfort Station, Kauai Beach Resort Association, 4331 Kauai Beach Drive, Lihue, Hawaii 96766 and TMK (4) 3-7-003: 017.
