Notice is hereby given that the County of Kaua’i Department of Public Works proposes to hold a
public informational meeting for the Kawaihau – Hau’a’ala – Mailihuna Complete Streets Project.

peanut-shaped roundabout, 5-ft. to 8-ft. wide sidewalks, pedestrian-activated flashing beacons,
concrete medians, concrete bus pads and shelters. The second part of the meeting will be conducted
pursuant to Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) of 1966, as amended (2006).
It will involve consultation with Native Hawaiian Organizations and Native Hawaiian descendants
with ancestral, lineal or cultural ties to, cultural knowledge or concerns for, and cultural religious
attachment to the proposed project area of potential effect (APE). Written responses within 30 days
of this notice date can be provided to Devin Quinn via email at dquinn@kauai.gov or by U.S. Postal
