Kuhio Highway Resurfacing and Safety Improvements Princeville to Waikoko

The public is advised that construction will begin October 1, 2024, and is expected to be completed October 2025, weather permitting.

Some work shall be performed at night between 9:00 P.M. and 5:00 A.M. of the following day, Sunday through Thursday, excluding holidays. There will not be any night work between September 15 and December 15 due to requirements to avoid and minimize adverse effects to the Hawaiian Seabirds. Daytime work will take place between the hours of 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM.

While work is being performed, traffic in the area may be impacted. Detours will be in place, follow all traffic control signs, and allow extra time to get to their destinations.
