NOTICE TO MOTORISTS
Beginning Monday, January 11, 2021 construction work will begin at the above referenced site. The project includes bridge railing and deck demolition; bridge widening; resurfacing of asphalt concrete pavement; removing existing trees and vegetation; installing guardrails; attenuators, curbs, sidewalk, approach slab, wingwalls, fiber reinforced plastic railing, pavement markings, erosion control and traffic control. The work is expected to be completed on July 23, 2021.
Working hours will be from 8:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. Monday through Friday, except holidays.
Residents should expect some noise associated with the construction activities. On-street parking will be prohibited during hours of construction work. Illegally parked vehicles may be towed, if necessary, at the owner’s expense. Motorists shall use caution and observe and obey all traffic controls, posted signs and special duty police officers while driving through the construction work zone area.
Additionally, one lane of the roadway will be closed during construction and may cause delays. Please allow additional travel time in anticipation of these delays.
