NORA CHITOSE ISHIDA TAKENOUCHI Nora Ishida Takenouchi, 99, of Kapaa, Hawaii, passed peacefully on April 4, 2024. Nora was born on September 30, 1924 and lived a long, full and happy life. She is survived by 2 children, Glen (Karen) Takenouchi and Jan Takenouchi (Sky) Phifer, 2 grandchildren and 4 great- grandsons. A private service will be held at All Saints’ Episcopal Church. Nora’s ashes will be interned at the Kauai Veterans Cemetery alongside her husband, Steven Seichi Takenouchi. It was Nora’s wish that no koden or donations be given.
